Except this country home was in the western United States. The background story goes that the nobleman married an american girl and they would travel between an east coast residence and the western residence regularly. Apparently the woman always took her bed with here. Big, canopied, heavily carved maple or oak job. So was very attached to the bed and eventually died in it…so the story goes. And people were saying she was haunting the room the bed was in. Oh wow...Very very compelling! Remember when Ra said they could be with us in any of our times? Maybe ghosts aren't trapped at all...but we're just picking up on a time loop of sorts...they're locked into a particular scene that keeps replaying, in our perception...but in their perception it's long gone. |
