Encouraging and Sharing our efforts to increase STO - Splash - 05-10-2015 Hello All ![]() I'm creating this thread inspired by: http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=10746&pid=179973#pid179973 I'll start by sharing that I had black coffee today (which was ikky!)... but I appreciate the energy it gave me to write this post ![]() and that I'm going to look at sourcing milk directly from an organic farmer (I live in rural/coastal dairy country) who I can visit to see if s/he has happy cows... if cows not happy... I'm going to slowly go dairy free ![]() Love to All ^j^ Splash ![]() RE: Encouraging and Sharing our efforts to increase STO - AnthroHeart - 05-10-2015 I often send love/light into the Earth to places where it is hurting. And I feel it in my heart. RE: Encouraging and Sharing our efforts to increase STO - AnthroHeart - 05-10-2015 You think black coffee is nasty. You should try the liquid coffee-flavored tea. Now that was sick. So is Thera-Flu. RE: Encouraging and Sharing our efforts to increase STO - Diana - 05-10-2015 Thank you, Splash, for this thread and your efforts on behalf of cows. There is so much cruelty in this world and it is so insidious, it is easy to feel overwhelmed if one is concerned with not causing harm. So I take one decision at a time. I simply choose the best option based on my knowledge and what is available, with every decision. Less packaging; organic; local; small family farms; etc. I live in the desert, and out of the city, so gardening is difficult. I am working on building a greenhouse and installing a drip irrigation system, so the vegetables/fruits I grow and eat will have a calm and loved existence. The biggest issue is the animals in the area, as they would eat anything up I try to grow even with fencing. I am planting fruit and nut tress which I can share with them. They already have two water sources on my property and right now, there are frogs singing at night in a little pond I call Javie Hollow (because the javelinas first rooted out a spot and tipped over the water dish to create a muddy area to lay in. I have since made it into a proper little watering hole). There will be polliwogs (tadpoles) in a few weeks and I will help them along by feeding them spinach. The frogs singing in Javie Hollow right now, procreating as they sing, are most likely graduates from my little pond. I would have a water source on my property in any case, but it is particularly important where I live, as a developer built over the animals' local watering hole. I am on a mountainside and there are 2 ravines along which the animals migrate. It is an honor to help and interact with the local wildlife.
