Trained in Thought, Word, and Action - native - 05-16-2015 Here's part of 4.14..I'm interested in the word part of it: "Therefore, those of the first type, those who seek to serve and are willing to be trained in thought, word, and action are those who will be able to comfortably maintain the distortion towards service in the area of healing." Since the ".. mind, body, and spirit are inextricably intertwined and cannot continue, one without the other.", I think it's little considered how the simplest of statements can cause all sorts of distortion, which brings up the idea of be trained in word. So I think it's important that when we speak, we speak in a positive manner about things. I do my best to be joyful and share an uplifting positive outlook on things. It also makes sense that if words are vibration containing thought which carries with it a particular type of energy, the very words we speak must have a magical effect on reality. About a year ago I realized that there was an area in which I wasn't walking in unity as best as I could, and that had to do with the words I was speaking. Most examples were small such as venting about coworkers, but others had to do with larger issues such as politics, social issues etc. Have you ever noticed how easily it is to just speak negatively of things, even when you're aware of the unity? It can sometimes take a lot of discipline to not indulge in such a mindset. When others would bring up a particular issue, however large or small, if I would respond with separative words they would naturally latch onto that mindset. I realized that when I would refrain from speaking in such a manner at all, disharmonious conversation that was quite typical began to fade away, or particular catalyst would manifest itself to offer a lesson. I think this is because if you listen to conversation, people are mostly looking for validation of their thoughts. The tricky issue here is that since there is no right or wrong, their thoughts are entirely ok and the goal is to see yourself in the other, yet you might not necessarily want the distortion to run wild so to speak. So since "The first giving beyond green ray is the giving of acceptance or freedom, thus allowing the recipient of blue-ray energy transfer the opportunity for a feeling of being accepted, thus freeing that other-self to express itself to the giver of this ray." ..I kindly acknowledge their confusion and say little if anything at all and just sort of let their observations rest within themselves. So most importantly, I prefer to not see myself as a guiding teacher. I approach this aspect of service from the context wherein I am seeing myself in the situation and learning how to best respond in unity..learning how to best give what is being asked of me..discipline of the personality. So when I hear what feels to be separative energy, I see it as a challenge to do my own seeking and see myself, and to respond with compassion and acceptance. For those who don't know the quote, venting and reacting to catalyst is important of course.. "The key to balance may then be seen in the unstudied, spontaneous, and honest response of entities toward experiences, thus using experience to the utmost, then applying the balancing exercises and achieving the proper attitude for the most purified spectrum of energy center manifestation in violet ray." I also don't intend that all of this has to be serious business and stuffy. I tend to try and diffuse such situations with playfulness and humor. RE: Trained in Thought, Word, and Action - VanAlioSaldo - 05-16-2015 Using the Law of Attraction for Work In Consciousness in a nutshell. Very good post, thank you. RE: Trained in Thought, Word, and Action - native - 05-16-2015 You're welcome. I edited the original post as one of the main points sounded confusing..I don't feel that it is a healer's task to guide others overtly, but instead a healer seeks to see themselves in all others..sharing. "Know then, first, the mind and the body. Then as the spirit is integrated and synthesized, those are harmonized into a mind/body/spirit complex which can move among the dimensions and which can open the gateway to intelligent infinity, thus healing self by light and sharing that light with others. True healing is simply the radiance of the self causing an environment in which a catalyst may occur which initiates the recognition of self, by self, of the self-healing properties of the self." RE: Trained in Thought, Word, and Action - Bring4th_Austin - 05-19-2015 I can relate pretty strongly to your experiences, Icaro. I've also spent the past year or so contemplating the nature of communication and trying to learn how to refine my own communication in ways that might be more consonant with consciously creating and sharing love. To build up sort of a strawman, I often see people (especially seekers) reach a point where they will take an attitude of "I am only speaking the truth, if that affects you then that is your responsibility, not mine." I do think there is a piece of truth in this, but the attitude itself is one that I feel shirks responsibility. If a person who wishes to live consciously knows that their words will be perceived (or mis-perceived) in a certain way, then they hold the responsibility for the results of how their words are perceived. If someone's words work to further distortion rather than smooth it, even if they are "speaking the truth," then that person holds responsibility for those further distortions. So often, a person will claim to have a goal of growing understanding with their communication, but they will refuse to alter the way they communicate despite the fact that understanding is not succeeding, and in fact can decrease when a person communicates in a way that can be emotionally charging for another person. What is the goal then? Is the goal truly to increase understanding, or is the goal to speak one's opinion no matter the consequences? The "proof of the pudding is in the eating," as they say. If further understanding does not result from communication, yet the communicator refuses to alter the way they communicate, then there are ulterior motives behind the communication besides furthering understanding, whether conscious or not. Once we accept this responsibility, communication becomes an intricate and delicate dance. It takes careful consideration to try to understand how your words will be received. This is obviously an arena that is rife with catalyst, such was the plan when the Logos opted out of telepathic communication. We can't know for sure how someone will receive our words, but we can do our best to put ourselves in that persons shoes and speak to them in a manner of speaking that we know they will understand, that we hope will be received with understanding rather than distortion. Different levels of development tend to communicate in certain ways. Different cultures attribute different types of meaning to language used. Doing our best to understand these intricacies and adapt to them, instead of try to blow through them with rigidity in our own composure, is what I think comprises a good part of our "outpouring" blue ray work. And, as you pointed out Icaro, sometimes the best thing we can do is remain silent. There are some situations where nothing we say can grow understanding, and anything we say will increase confusion and distortion. The method of this particular blue ray work is fairly simple, I think, although seems to be the work of an entire lifetime. We ask ourselves, "What is my goal in communication?" Then we evaluate how our communication is being received. "Am I building a bridge of understanding between me and the other person? Is my goal being achieved? Or am I increasing the gap, only pressing their buttons and causing them to be energized further in our disagreement?" Then, think about how you might be able to adapt to the situation and communicate on a level which might closer fulfill your goals, and do it all over again. RE: Trained in Thought, Word, and Action - Berilac Sandydowns - 05-19-2015 One of my high-priority-asking-for-help-things is assistance in slowing down my interactions in ftf communications. It is a real problem for me. Engaging my mind and spirit before my mouth. Like there's a bottleneck. All these connections and ideas come flowing very quickly. And the most bizarre response often makes it out first. haha "Is that LOBSTERS coming out of your ears??" Something I'm really focusing on improving. RE: Trained in Thought, Word, and Action - native - 05-19-2015 It certainly is a delicate dance and I can understand how it takes a lifetime to refine. The specific topic you bring up has been a constant issue on here and I've dealt with it in my personal life daily. So I think how and what we feel is appropriate to communicate, not what we communicate above all else, is a central aspect of service that often takes a backseat to the latter. We get stuck on knowledge rather than emotional atmosphere. To sort of elaborate on my original post, if.."It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes..", how is it responsible of me to talk about a friend/family member/coworker behind their back and call them, to use a simple example, lazy. Truthfully I am very lazy in a number of ways (which I am happily ok with for the most part ![]() I can understand all this in my consciousness, accept it in spirit, yet for whatever reason it can be enticing to just blabber about others as if they're different than you. The second you open your mouth all that spiritual work crumbles because you're invoking and participating in separation that others pick up on and run with. So I think it takes great discipline to be trained in word and speak in a positive manner reliably. And as I said, this doesn't have to be stuffy and we all have to vent sometimes..it's all part of self-acceptance. This is one of the main reasons I am here—to develop my communication skills to the point of clarity. I am tested continually—which I love—to say what I REALLY mean rather than what my unconsciousness reactions might be to a subject. So much stuff falls away if one is looking at reactions without judgments. It is edifying to see where I react and therefore afforded an opportunity to let go of those reactive impulses knowing they don't serve me; but also to see where I may have some work to do on myself. It's super tough. Clarity seems to be one of Ra's major concerns/lessons. "The possibility of communication, as you would call it, from the One to the One through distortion acceptable for meaning is the reason we contacted this group." |
