Google Reverse Image Search - AnthroHeart - 12-18-2016

I found a neat way to find original images, if you have only a partial image or want to verify it's authenticity.

Directions for Google Reverse Image Search are here: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/1325808?hl=en

I had this partial image, which was a screenshot of a furry music video:

Then I ran the reverse image search by uploading that image to Google.
I had to scroll  through some postings, but eventually found the full image:

What's amazing is the files are different resolutions, the newer one is sharper because the old one was slightly blurred.
So it must do something more intricate than matching pixels.

You can use it if someone sends you an image or you find one, where else on the web it can be found.

Happy Searching.

i somehow accidentally discovered that a while back.
i thought it was really neat too...but i only searched for one picture then was just like in awe that being able to do that exists then i never used it again & forgot it existed.
thanks for the reminder.  :)

Maybe you can use it to find where people find their avatar if you like theirs.
But I did search for a small image, but it found no results. So not sure if avatar searching would work.

A little off topic, but "Rogue Antimatter" is one of my favorite phrases I've heard in weeks, I think.
