Law of One communities - renyrat - 07-19-2010

Does anyone know of any Law of One communities? It would be wonderful to be a part of a community of people who are like minded. (I mean more than this great forum) Kind of like a commune of Law of One people. Everybody has a vested interest and everybody helps with the day to day life. I looked it up on-line and I found one forming in Ontario, Canada. But I'm sure there are more. I just wondered if anyone on the forum knew of any. Thanks for the input.

The only thing that comes to mind is a group of native people that live somewhere in Central or South America. A couple videos of them have been posted on this site, though I'm not sure where. They're not a community of Law of One people, per se, but they live its values. Isn't exactly what you asked, but it's the best I've got!

Anyone remember who these people are/where they are/where the videos are? I'ma scan through the threads real quick...

The Law of One isn't supposed to be a dogma following certain characteristic to fulfill the doctrines of the dogma.

The Law of One can be seen in any community. It's about incorporating love and unity.

A community in relation to the teachings of the Law of One can be as simple as being started in your own home on a personal level with family.

Be the community that you want to build, in my opinion that is.

The village of Findhorn, in Scotland, doesn't bill itself as a "Law of One community", but the residents tend to live by its principles, if even unconsciously.

Thanks for all the great responses. I guess I was thinking of a place somewhere on this planet where you could say, buy into a dwelling that is part of a type of commune. the people who live there each have their unique skill, like building expertise, medicine, teacher, organic gardener, farming or they are taught by experts in the community. The day consists of making the community run. Everybody helps and everybody gets help. Food could be sold to other communities, etc.
I guess in this part of my life, (45 years and wanting to be spiritual and live in nature with other people) I just wonder if a place like that exists.
This mundane world seems so nonsensical and disfunctional.
I would want clean living people including professionals.
I guess I'm just putting this out there. My husband and I feel ready to just sell our house and go live in the wilderness somewhere.
But enough ranting, I'm going to go talk to the chickens.
