Hello all - NeoIcebreaker - 04-24-2011

hello everyone. Im new to your forums so I thought that I should introduce myself and let you all know Im here. Since this is an area to share experiences of how we have awakened on an individual basis I will do that and let you know more about me and where Im coming from. I do consider myself a wonderer but its hard to tell from which density I hail from but I figure I am a being more aligned with 5th density as I love wisdom and I am always questioning anything and everything and trying to find the purpose and reason for anything in creation to exist as it relates to other forms of creation and this seeking for the connections that exist have provided many "A-HA!" moments lol. I have read many things and even though I can not say I have a firm grasp on the subjects I've read about such as string theory and such, I have tried to at least gain an understanding for what is being said and written about. I suppose my first experience with spirituality came when I was a child when my mother spoke to me about king Soloman and how god asked him for anything and he chose that he be given wisdom. That really spoke to me and I remember that I prayed to god that night that I may also be given wisdom, but my seeking did not manifest its self fully until just before high school. I was watching Full Metal Alchemist and the whole idea of transmutation was very interesting. So I got online and read about Alchemy and like many others, I didnt understand a lick of it lol. But I did read about the many philosophies regarding Alchemy and the one that really spoke to me was the idea of the transmutation of the spirit. It is from there that my seeking led me to many other areas of life that included such topics as Theology, Philosophy, Physics, History, Astrology, and many other areas of knowledge. Now mind you Im not a up tight person who is incapaple of laughter and creativity and I have along my path dabbled with drawing, writing, and making music on my computer. I'm just not any good is all lol but I do try. Now I can not say I've had too many mystical experiences but the one's I have had were very profound which I plan on sharing with you all. I have read many spiritual books including but the one's that I would say had a very profound effect on me were The Urantia Book and The Law of One series with the LOO series being as it is I had to read three times just to gain some form of understanding of what was trying to be said and I still have to reread. I also enjoy reading the Quo transcripts posted on the L/L Research site. Well I don't want to turn an introduction into a book say I will end it with this. The ONE is ALL, the ALL is ONE for that is the TRUE meaning of INFINITY. I wish you all the greatest amount of Love and Light. Thank you.

Thank you and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you've had an experienced life with all those subjects you've studied.

RE: Hello all - Ankh - 04-25-2011

Welcome to the forum, brother! Thank you for sharing.

Hello, Neo. Nice to have you here. I hope to learn much from your varied exposure and accumulated wisdom.

Hi and welcome!

So FMA helped to inspire your awakening. That's great! XD I used to watch that show all the time. I had a similar reaction when I watched the move 12 Monkeys...it threw me for a total loop. Lol.

Welcome, wonderful to have you! Alchemy is something I have somewhat specialized in, the forms it takes is incredibly varied. King Solomon, I believe, was a very powerful alchemist (where else would he get the perfect gold for his temples?), and the Goetia is a very, very interesting magical tract attributed to him, particularly his supposed "sealing" of 72 demons of "hell". However, he was known as a very benevolent and kind ruler, his sealing of the demons a representation of his goodness. I have still to read the Urantia, but I intend to.

May your passings be of peace, adonai.

Yeah I read that a long while ago. I think it was the " the keys of soloman" not sure cause it's been a while (like 5 years maybe). Alchemy is something I got too far into simply from the symbols used. I read that sometimes the alchemist would use physical terms to describe the spiritual and spiritual terms to describe the physical and that enlightened people would understand. The one thing that did resonate with me is the transmutation of the soul which I consider as the launchpad into my spiritual studies.Perhaps I need to network more often and dig deeper and see the subjects I've read about from another's perspective. Gain a bit more insight and whatnot.

RE: Hello all - Unbound - 05-20-2011

Yes, that is what the Goetia is, well, rather the Goetia is one of the "minor" keys. Interesting to note the number of concepts which come from the word "key". Not just that which opens the gateway, but the specificity of which gateway.

I do believe that is the way it is, the chemical processes typically symbolized the internal processes, the physical reactions being the external reflection. The alchemists believed that metals were very much spiritually evolving entities, going from base metals up in to gold. So the alchemical process of creating gold and do "in a few years what it took nature a thousand", signifies the conscious transmutation of the self as a catalyst. That is, the self-observation, purification and self-creation is a catalyst upon the "natural" spiritual development. Rather, if one was to simply continue time and time again through life without ever consciously seeking the self, you would still eventually reach the same enlightenment, it would simply take a much vaster amount of time.

However, also of note is that the concept of "transmutation" in alchemy is not restricted to European traits. There are a variety of types of chinese alchemy, also particularly Taoist inner alchemy. Also notable that in many ways Kabbalah is one of the "original" alchemies, partially surviving through Gnosticism which survived under the guise of "scientific" alchemy. I have also seen alchemy involving materialization from St. Germain, although I believe he is Orion oriented.

Indeed, the symbolism is what drew me as well! Sacred Geometry also plays a role in alchemical practices.

RE: Hello all - Spectrum - 05-20-2011

Welcome NeoIcebreaker, I believe the "Philosopher's Stone" in alchemy would be what Ra describes as channeling intelligent energy, like Jesus did. The "Philosopher's Stone" is said to heal any illness, extend lifespan etc.

RE: Hello all - Unbound - 05-20-2011

I believe you are correct, Spectrum.

RE: Hello all - NeoIcebreaker - 05-20-2011

Very interesting. Sacred geometry was something I read about last year. I suppose I should have mentioned in my intro that of all that I have read I only gained a simple understanding about then moved on to the next subject. Literally following bread crumbs. Now Im at the point in my life I can finally "see" the connections that exist in life and how nothing is truly separate. Maybe now after 8 years of reading I can finally put the pieces together. There was something that drew me to alchemy but I couldn't get past the symbols (though I suppose I could of looked em up but there was so much I didn't know I imagine I wouldn't have understood what was being said in the first place). Perhaps it's time to go back. At least now I have somewhere to go and ask questions. Thank you

Actually, the symbols are designed to be misleading in most cases, they in themselves are only representations of processes. This is why alchemy is so hard to penetrate, because nearly every major alchemist used some variance on the symbolism, often personal, and often in a cryptic format to even further hide the secrets. Rather, I would meditate on the symbolic insinuations of those processes described in alchemy/chemistry, realizing that you are the base metal. (http://www.deeptrancenow.com/exc3_7operations.htm) (http://www.levity.com/alchemy/alch-pro.html) (http://azothgallery.com/alchemical/processes.html)

Also, this site gives a well-to-do physical demonstration of alchemy, which of course would be very useful if examined in symbolic terms. (http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_ciencia_lapidus1.htm)
