I recall watching a video in which someone was claiming the exact opposite; the object displayed attributes that were not usually associated with comets.

Do you remember where you saw this video? There's tons of information about Elenin online but it all seems poorly sourced. I'm hungry for verifiable information on Elenin, the implications of whether it is "normal" or not are pretty huge.

In regards to "vessel" I have definitely seen it suggested that "Nibiru" or whatever is in fact an artifical "space station".

4d civilizations reach where they are going almost instantly by flipping into time/space. higher civilizations, dont use crafts to reach anywhere, and instead go by the power of thought, instantly.
some 3d civilizations use technologies that are more primitive, but they dont have any business conducting cosmic tasks in their 3d state.
in short, apparently there is no need for any entity that would have cosmic dealings that would affect this planet, to use a comet to 'travel'.

because, most of them are in veiled state, rather cut off from cosmic spiritual instreamings.
practically, they are clumsy and fickle, not to mention that yet without knowledge enough to reliably conduct any cosmic task/maintenance.

This is a strange thing. We keep getting the answer that there is no comet. Also that the folks are 4D/5D and will go into hiding when they arrive. That made me think of Ra mentioning how 4D needed to learn to hide from 3D. Kind of spooky to me.
