Just read the Light/Lines newsletter, edition 110.
The initial query of Wanderers having difficulty adjusting to third density caught my attention.
Q'uo, through the channeling of Carla, made some good points. While I remain unfamilar with Q'uo some additional thoughts arose as I was reading the piece.
My interpretation of Ra's statements about Wanderers suggests that about 10% of the Earth's population is currently Wanderers. A few are from the 4th density (love), most are from the 5th (wisdom), and a few are from the 6th (unity). Since the majority are from the fifth density, then most have incarnated here with some level of wisdom. As we all are aware there are infinite levels within the 5th density, and for that matter all densities.
One of the numerous attributes of wisdom is adaptability. This would appear to be a difficult attribute to learn if one remained within their own environment. Incarnating in another density, especially the third with its veil, would appear to offer the best opportunity to learn that trait. At the same time, recognizing/overcoming the veil would also help in determining how far in the learning process the incarnate had achieved. And of course, incarnating during a vibrational shift would also aide in helping those of the third density make a choice. In other words, before incarnation all three of these factors had to have been considered, as well as, most probably a number of others. And the appropriate catalysts, at regular intervals during the incarnation, had to be set up.
Since most of us here have indeed recognized the veil, those catalysts have served their purpose. The fact that many of us here are aware that we are to aide in the Earth's vibrational transition confirms that those catalysts have worked as well. In regard to the mental/physical distortions we have encountered in adapting to this density. We again have to recognize that these too are catalysts, albeit ongoing catalysts until resolved or accepted.
My particular distortion experience has been with physical pain. Rarely severe, but always a nagging pain in some area of the body. When I hit my 20's I accepted the fact that I would just have to adapt and adjust to it. I did not let it control me. I lived my life normally, but was always subconsciously aware not to aggravate whatever was the painful area at the time. By the time I hit my 30's I had adapted. As the years went forward I found myself actually being able to heal each area, one at a time. From that point on I recognized each ailment as a challenge. Mind over matter. Currently in my 60's and still dealing with pain, in new areas btw. I can now look back and know that they were all catalysts to get me to the point of where I am today. It may take me a few lunar cycles, but I can indeed adapt to any environment that is hospitable to this physical vehicle.
In summary, I propose that the mental/physical distortions offered to Wanderers in this density should be recognized as catalysts to improve their adaptability trait. Seek within yourself to find the answers. You would not incarnate without offering yourself catalysts, that would lead to answers.

Dense ... that is an interesting word, and I recall my father used it quite often ... hahaha
Someone who is "dense", is one who is closed minded and not open to suggestions.
Yet, the more one opens to intelligent infinity, the "denser" they become.
Therefore, I think we have just discovered and resolved a paradox:
"The less dense one is, the more denser they become."
Just happen, as often does, to read these clips from Ra.
Questioner: I was thinking possibly of the catalyst of physical pain. Does this go under this heading?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, it going under the heading of the unmanifested self; that is, the self which does not need other-self in order to manifest or act.
Questioner: Thank you. Can you give me examples of catalytic action from the last session beginning with the self unmanifested producing learning catalyst?
Ra: I am Ra. We observed your interest in the catalyst of pain. This experience is most common among your entities. The pain may be of the physical complex. More often it is of the mental and emotional complex. In some few cases the pain is spiritual in complex-nature. This creates a potential for learning. The lessons to be learned vary. Almost always these lessons include patience, tolerance, and the ability for the light touch.
Questioner: A positively oriented entity may select a certain narrow path of thinking and activities during an incarnation and program conditions that would create physical pain if this were not followed. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

That quote reminds me of an oppurtunity I kicked in the face a couple of years ago. It often leads me to think I took a route that does not take me to the end I want. I had and wasted that chance already. I think assessing my own 'pain' is something I have never considered, always busy trying to forget about it
I'm not sure where I read these figures from, but I read them somewhere. In one of the Ra sessions it is said at that time there are 60million wanderers on the planet, however this is difficult to say due to the influx of wanderers still migrating. This would have been about 20 years ago. So I guess upto 100M of us now. Just for interest, 6billion people, gives us 60 people each to offer awakening too, and that is the whole world. Doesent actually sound that hard when you put it into such meaningless numerical figures :p
I also read that the majority of wanderers are 6D not 5D?
Maybe I got them mixed up and you are right, but as far as I can remember, this is what I came across.
I'm installing Adobe reader again (woohoo Windows 7), I think the info I was referring is in A wanderers handbook.

wanderers, as you call them, are of the sixth density. The desire to serve
must be distorted towards a great deal of purity of mind and what you
may call foolhardiness or bravery.
If you took a guess at 10% of the population being wanderers, good work haha!

I just realized I had referenced the negative polarity which is 4th and 6th minor, 5th major in percentage of incarnations. Thank you for correcting my error. Page 100, book one.
Pain, as I understand it, is a catalyst from the unmanifested-self to self. It can serve many functions, most of which, I believe, is focus. We all came here for a purpose. The pain, physical/mental, is to keep us on track or to get us on track for that purpose.
