RE: [vid] Avalokiteshvara: the suffering of so many ... - ThatZenGuy - 01-12-2012

Avalokiteshvara or Quan Yin in some Asian cultures is the symbol of a Pure Complete Service to Others path light worker. He/she took a vow to stay and continue to help fellow sentient beings before attaining pure complete enlightenment and being one with the creator again. Dispelling fear in the hearts of humans by promising that no matter where you are and no matter what dire situation you are in, all you need to do is to ask for help and you shall have it. This is true, since there is no dark part of the Universe where the Creator's light and love can not reach. All the being needs to do to see that light/love is to turn around from the darkness.

im curious, do u believe that we live in a just universe. do u believe that life on this planet is just. i dont i see absolutely no justice on this planet at all. an elite few rule at the expense and the exploitation of the many and god permits this to occur. that's the reality that i perceive and i find it incredibly frustrating to say the least. look at people like pol pot a mass murderer who lived into his 70's look at all the evil around this planet where people have no rights, north korea , burma, america lol. look at the people who died because of bush and cheney and yet bush gets 100,000 a speech. there is no justice on this plane as i see it and this reality is ruled by evil and evil and greed are blessed on this planet. so god or whatever u want to call it permits these injustices to occur and for evil to rule this plane. that is the conclusion that i come to.

Hi Norral,

I see where you are going. No, at face value you can never say any of the things that you mentioned are just or fair. If you look beyond the good and bad of this world. You will see that God the highest and the creative source is beyond good and evil. Beyond positive and negative, the creator loves all and all has free will. Either it to destroy and be selfish or to love and selflessly serve and create.

We live in a world that has both positive and negative, love and hate, creation and destruction so we can see both sides of the coin. So we can make a choice of how we want to live in this world. The outer world is a reflection of our own internal level of consciousness.

We can't change the world around us by trying to change others or making others do things that are beyond their free will. We can only change ourselves, be loving, be selfless, be compassionate to ourselves and to others. Only in this way can we ever change the world. You create the world you want to live in, and that creation starts with your own self. No matter how much destruction, hate and selfishness I see around me, I vow not to do the same.

thanks zen. i like your answer it makes sense. you've taken it a step higher than just this little orb that we live on and taken a cosmic view and i can appreciate that. me i have issues with anger i am not above enjoying seeing my enemy suffer. the greatest joy for me would be to see cheney skewered with and apple in his mouth roasting over hot coals for all of eternity. like i said i am not above taking pleasure in seeing my enemy suffer lol. but your answer gives me much to reflect upon and is appreciated

I would take that focus of energy of Cheney being skewered with an apple roasting over hot coals to good use! You are very creative! Turn that energy into loving energy for someone else that you love, rather than dwell on doing something negative to your enemies. BigSmile

Loving your enemies is the only way to kill them.

If you sit by the river long enough, you will see the body of your enemy float by.
Japanese Proverb
you don't need to bring down your "enemies" because they will bring themselves down eventually, by their own hand.

RE: [vid] Avalokiteshvara: the suffering of so many ... - norral - 01-13-2012

it's just so much fun though to give them a push to help them to destroy themselves. it brings great joy to my heart. god said vengence is mine but norral says let me help god let me help BigSmileBigSmile . it gives me great joy to punch the bully in his nose, besides if no one stands up to them they never know they are a bully. so guys like me serve their purpose too. the way things are going in this country right now if people dont wake up we will all be working for 5 bucks and hour with no benefits while the rich drive by in their chauffered limos looking out of their tinted windows and saying oh look at the rabble, outside harrington, by the way do u have any grey poupon. they look dirty unkempt so glad that we are not like the great unwashed masses

that is how the rich think , they are superior to everyone else. i make sure that everyone who pulls that superior crap with me suffers to some extent. makes them think twice the second time. as a matter of fact their is someone i have to straighten out shortly as they have forgotten they are human just like everyone else and norral no like dat

RE: [vid] Avalokiteshvara: the suffering of so many ... - Meerie - 01-13-2012

yes norral, yes I know BigSmile
but let me cite my beloved David R Hawkins again..
"by their own hands they will bring themselves down. And if they fall it is better they fall of their own accord, than because of you putting a bullet in their heads."
BigSmile
Karma is a b**** you know.

RE: [vid] Avalokiteshvara: the suffering of so many ... - norral - 01-13-2012

i actually have no desire to kill anyone. that is for god to decide. i do have a desire to meet some of these people face to face and tell them what i think of them. they dont want to have any contact with regular people
thats for sure. what i want is to spend time with people of like mind not parasites like those who rule this earth. i would be perfectly happy living in a community where people cared and not having any contact with the outside world at all. i need this world like i need a hole in my head. i will write a note to myself not to volunteer in the future to help out in places like earth i dont like this place because of the people who run it. the whole enviornment that we live in is predatory people waiting to pounce on the first sign of weakness. it makes me want to go into my barf cycle most of the stuff i see makes me want to barf, royalty = barf, elites = barf, war = barf, superiority = barf, arrogance = barf, cruelty = barf, greed = barf, the msm = barf. there ive barfed it all out i feel much much better.

Wow, what an epic derail BigSmile

Anyways. Thanks for introducing to me to the story of Avalokiteshvara, this was an eye-opener, and now I picked up a mantra in the way as well. Thank you : )

RE: [vid] Avalokiteshvara: the suffering of so many ... - Plenum - 01-14-2012

lol. Epic derails are what this place is all about Smile

it's like seeing a crystal unfold from a single seed point; you never what what mysteries are waiting there.

I'm so guilty of it too Smile

RE: [vid] Avalokiteshvara: the suffering of so many ... - norral - 01-20-2012

when u chant om mani padme hum as i understand it u are sending a message to the universe. that message is "i want to help my fellow man .
u will start to have experiences where people appear out of nowhere and ask for your help. it happens to me every time i chant that mantra on a regular basis
