The internet and especially youtube is buzzing with that strange sound phenomenon. Any of you have any ideas intuitions or wild hunches on what it is about?

I've heard similar sounds recently here in NW Indiana - keep thinking that it is a train or lawn mower, but when I try to locate the source I can't "find" it, and it sounds more as if it is coming from the sky (as in the video with the young couple).
