Raw foods supplies, luscious soaps, and other treats - Monica - 08-25-2009

Sometimes we come across a product or service that is so wonderful, and, more importantly, the people offering that product or service are so wonderful, that we just have to spread the word!

I have no affiliation with any of these, but I have been so pleased with their products and/or services, that I just have to tell others.

Family-owned goat farm: Offering delicious, yummy, luscious, creamy, and even sexy soaps that smell fantastic, last a long time, and leave your skin all soft and smooth. Excellent, personal service.

Gourmet flavored raw, germinated nuts, for optimal digestion and health, that taste incredible! Also wonderful service as well.

Local, organic produce delivered to your door! What an amazing idea! I just discovered this service and just got off the phone with a local organic farmer. I don't actually have experience with it yet, but I'm just passing on the idea. Evidently, there are other local groups as well, who do this.

Amazing selection of sprouting seeds, in unbelievably tasty combinations. Alas, if only their communication and customer service were as good as their selection! If anyone knows of any other companies with similar selections, please let me know! Until then, I shall continue to order from these people and just send them love, in the hopes that their communication and service will improve!

Natural, mineral-rich salt...this is healthy salt!

So many wonderful people, networking their wonderful products and services...it's a joy to shop with them!

Thanks for sharing Monica..

I'll have to order a big bunch of soap to make up for the transport fee to sweden. Smile
I was using liquid soap for a long time, but it empties so fast. Bar soaps really last for a long time, it's truly an investment. And if they are this wonderful, well how could it not be an even greater investment!
On another note but related to washing: I scrub my whole body every other day, if some of you are not I recommend to give it a try. Makes you much cleaner, softer and stimulates the skin to produce whatever it does to make you feel better - similar to lying on a spiked mat.

Some hefty prices on that greenliving site, I hope you enjoy your food ! I buy from local farmer too though, but I bet that site takes a fair bit of the $

Is it possible to replant sprouts in some way? I dont think so though..

I share with my money, for I do not need it. So be it.

I just edited my post to indicate that I don't actually have experience with that group yet, and the prices probably vary quite a bit, depending on location, services, etc. It's really the idea more than anything that I am promoting, in this case: the idea of working with the farmers directly.

Well you could plant the seeds in the ground and let them mature, and make new seeds. I don't have the time or the resources to do that, so I pay someone else to do it.

You are fortunate!
