I think I'm doing something right... - Turtle - 09-02-2009
...because as I experience certain people and situations which emotionally feel negative or bad, I find myself coming back to a state of peace and joy faster and easier. Radiate that love my friends, and we shall unite as one. Godspeed in your endeavors, and thanks for all the awesome conversations we've shared! (I'm not leaving the forum, just wanted to share this).

Thanks for sharing Jamal, and I couldn't agree more. You should have seen me at the DMV yesterday... knowing what the experience is like from prior visits, I went in determined to "radiate" happiness. I can only hope it rubbed off on some, but I can tell you for a fact it was the best DMV visit I've ever had.
I'm also continually humbled and wowed by the vast spiritual knowledge here at the forums. Truly blessed to be apart of it.

Keep doing it!
That intent is like a muscle, just keep using it and the time will come where you're even at peace when others are in conflict with you. But heed one little thing. There will be a time where it does not seem to work. A frustrating time. There's always at least one such moment shortly after you decided to make a change. This is where we get the chance to go back to the old ways. If you don't want to go back just keep going forward! It might seem unclear where you're going but eventually the friction will pass and things become even easier after it. It's graduation it needs a bit of extra commitment. Don't take it personal it's a service extended to all of us.
Oh right... I remembered this cool picture to congratulate you with. But when I looked for it on google, I stumble across this guy. (He made me link him, I didn wanna!)

It is a good idea to keep up with your meditations while you are on top form and well, they will be so much easier to do then and, this will help you when you need it most.

Love feels so good, and it's contagious! It just grows and grows! I know this probably sounds dorky, but I want to just run around yelling "Spread the love!" to everyone I see, with this big smile on my face.

Oh, we don't think it's dorky! Do it!!! That would be so awesome! Maybe then the rest of us will have the courage to do it too! Like those people who hold up the 'free hugs' signs.

I LOVE the FREE HUGS people! I send their videos as LOVE MESSAGES to people---- It is about spreading LOVE--- this is in all that you do--- a smile, a gentle look toward somone that is harried... it is about Be-ing in a state of LOVE and the Do-ing simply will follow as you are that what you are.
I think those that spread hate are the dorks... they are riding the short bus on the long way around to school.
