wanderers and past lives - Oceania - 06-15-2012
since some of us have had past lives as priests and whatnot
... i was wondering how common is this and are all wanderers programmed to incarnate as people who go on to become priests or witches or sourcerers.all my life i've felt a pull toward magic and yet a big wall that comes up, like to protect me. somehow i know i'm not supposed to mess with that stuff. but i have no idea why. what is in my past that makes me afraid?
what is in all of our pasts? were we once more into magic than now? the modern life kind of brainwashes people to think magic doesn't exist.

With a proper school of magic, and a real adept for a master, there is nothing to worry about. Magic is simply living life to the fullest. Although there are not many legit schools out there.

Life means something different to everyone, one does not have to sacrify one's own life. Although as a magician you do sacrifice your lower self and stretch for your Higher Self.

That which doesn't serve you in higher densities. Those sides of you that keeps you in need of reincarnation, karmic shackles if you will. That side of yourself that is addicted to the illusion, be it through greed, gluttony, hoarding etc. The kind of activity that keep getting you to square one in spiritual development
I think most of us are getting rid of such vices anyway.

Yes, I know this wall that you are talking about. I am not sure that it is anything from your past life though, but that it is your non-incarnated part that warns you. These stuff isn't to mess with as you said.
It is the intelligent infinity and energy (the energy of the Logos which destroys and creates) that you are to work with, and it is a lot of stuff that needs to be worked through before that. Ra calls it "illusory material" which is quite a lot in third density.
First there are stuff like magics of our bodies and minds that needs to be explored and understood. And then there is *polarity*. What is your purpose of using it? In what direction do you point your magic needle so to speak? This is my understanding though and each has its own.

I know of at least one other life in which I was a cloistered monk, and I have a perception that I have been one of those in a number of lifetimes. In fact if I wasn't married I might be doing that now. The quiet, the sense of sanctuary and timelessness, and the music all really appeal to me.

The hardest was caffeine and fructose. Coffee was so much part of my life. Now I drink water and herbal teas. Not eating in between meals isn't so bad. I try to do this in partnership with my physical vehicle.

The typicality of those who feel extremely drawn in any incarnational experience towards the occult, the esoteric, magick/witchcraft, developing psychic prowess, shamanic practice and generally accessing hidden or latent abilities of consciousness as being Wanderers is so because the higher density being remembers deep within what it is like to exist beyond the limitation of physicality and the mental handicaps one is subject to as a creature of this density. This subconscious recollection and nature of higher being manifests itself as the conscious and almost involuntarily compelled pursuits and predilection to the aforementioned areas.

I agree a bit with what gv wrote. I think that maybe Wanderers are prone to seek more, as they are used from other densities to have the connection with the Creator, and maybe that can cause us suffering, feeling this hole inside ourselves where it used to be love/light. It sure does it to me. And that hole is what we are trying to fill with various means like sex, drugs, alcohol etc. But I am not sure. Native third density could also have the same seeking/longing I guess, when they have had enough of this insanity, and desire to wake up. Maybe Wanderers just have this bias more than others, but I am not sure that every Wanderer listens to it though, and follows this calling coming from its own heart/spirit.
