2012 Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce - BrownEye - 06-23-2012 http://www.ewg.org/foodnews/summary/ Quote:Eat your fruits and vegetables! The health benefits of a diet rich in fruits and vegetables outweigh the risks of pesticide exposure. Use EWG's Shopper's Guide to Pesticides to reduce your exposures as much as possible, but eating conventionally-grown produce is far better than not eating fruits and vegetables at all. The Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ will help you determine which fruits and vegetables have the most pesticide residues and are the most important to buy organic. You can lower your pesticide intake substantially by avoiding the 12 most contaminated fruits and vegetables and eating the least contaminated produce. The impulse was not really normal for me. What happened was that the ground beef I had bought was recalled right after I bought it, which made me wonder why I had such a strong drive to stock up on it. It is extremely helpful to be aware of impulses enough to question them. We do have the ability to divine the source of these impulses as well. Ah, I may mention that I find fault with the "path of least resistance", if that helps any. |
