the chariot - julieannepalmer - 11-27-2012 In the image of The Chariot the person has a symbol on his chest. Does anyone know where it is from? What is a symbol for? Many thanks. Julieanne Do you mean a symbol like the one here? ![]() Don asked about that here: Quote:103.10 Questioner: In that case I have a few questions on Card Number Seven in order to finish off our first run-through of the archetypes of the mind. There is a T with two right angles above it on the chest of the entity on Card Seven. We have guessed that the lower T has to do with the possibility of choosing either path in the transformation and the upper two angles represent the great way of the left and the right-hand paths in the mental transformation that makes the change from space/time into time/space, you might say. This is difficult to express. Is anything correct in this? This may also be relevant: Quote:95.27 Questioner: The possibility of the legs of the entity of Card Four being at right angles was linked with the tesseract, mentioned in a much earlier session by Ra, as the direction of transformation from space/time into time/space and I was thinking that possibly it was also linked with the crux ansata. Am I in any way correct in this observation? RE: the chariot - julieannepalmer - 11-28-2012 Thanks so much! RE: the chariot - Spaced - 02-23-2013 I have been thinking about this same thing and stumbled upon this thread so I thought I would share some of my thoughts. If as Ra says the tesseract represents proximity between space/time and time/space this would mean that the heart serves as a conduit between those two realms. This creates an imbalance because on one side we have the Creator's perfect realm and on the other we have this fragmented approximation. Because of this imbalance a mind and body become attached to this conduit, which is in essence a fragmented spark of the Creator, in an effort to allow it to experience those things which will lead it to further evolution and an eventual return to the Creator. The Chariot then, though drawn by polarity as represented by the sphinxes, is powered by the heart. The heart is what creates the constant need for Catalyst, but it is through the conscious choice of polarity that one is able to really make traction with Catalyst. These are just my idle thoughts naturally so take what you like and forget the rest ![]() RE: the chariot - JustLikeYou - 03-01-2013 Those are thoughts worth considering, Spaced. I'm especially fond of the association of this intersection with the heart center -- obvious interpretation, but one I hadn't yet made. However, I don't think time/space can be accurately thought of as "the Creator's perfect realm." While it does lack the kinds of distortions we see in space/time, every distortion in space/time has a counterpart in time/space. In other words, for every event there is a corresponding thought-form. The two realms are thus perfectly balanced between each other, one containing the actual the other containing the potential. Yeah, I feel I was stretching it there too, I was just trying to figure out why when I am working with the Chariot archetype I often feel like I am being pulled around by my heart. RE: the chariot - JustLikeYou - 03-02-2013 I agree with you on that aspect. I think that the archetypes of the mind revolve around clearing the lower chakras and opening the heart. I also think that the will of the mind as it rides its chariot is determined by what is already "in your heart," so to speak. For those of us on the STO path, a loving, open, honest, mutually supportive experience is what is in our hearts, so it is what we seek above all else. This will drives us forward. Similarly, for the STS, the attributes of the closed heart are what drive them forward. |
