spirit in my house wwyd? - lightworker - 06-10-2013

Since moving into the place I live, odd things occur on a regular basis. A drawing randomly appeared on my bedroom door, the feeling of a spirit in the next room. Just random small harmless occurances.

Now I have friends telling me they are sensing it too (many without me even mentioning our unseen friend)

Can anyone give me any insight on what is going on here? Would you ignore it? Seek help for it? Curiosity killed the cat so I've leaned towards ignoring it for years but I am looking for insight and opinions from you guys Smile

Thanks in advance!

How do you feel about it? I mean, if it doesn't create any discomfort I'd say have fun with it.
I've also been noticing some oddness here and sometimes I feel a hand on my shoulder/my face,
it scared me a bit at first but I believe they have a great sense of humour.

Hello lightworker, we used to have visitations a while back which resulted in a lot of felt tension, moving shadows around the house, sounds, nightmares as well as other mild but strange occurrences around the house. Although I believe it is normal for entities to come and go (private property is a very human concept after all), if you feel one sticks, it might be good to help it move on, especially if it disturbs your day to day life.

When I understood I could do something about visitations, I proceeded to light up a candle on a low table which is still permanently on (we do our best to transfer the flame to a new candle every 5 days) over a year and a half later. I also use incense and whenever I light it up, I whisper a short personal prayer, asking for peace, light and purification of my home, also thanking the spirits who help me on my journey. Using sage is also a good way to purify a space; light it up and walk around the house with it, sharing your intent for it to become a place of love and light. When it comes to the spirit itself, when you feel it, instead of encouraging it to stay through fear, anger or fascination, I would suggest to try visualizing it in your mind, and then visualize yourself sending it light and love. What I usually do is wrap a beautiful blanket of light around passing spirits I feel, and I share with them love as well as healing. Sometimes, I will even imagine myself kissing them on the forehead and hugging them, especially if I feel they might be trying to scare me. In my experience, after being surrounded by light for a few seconds or minutes, they dissipate and I cannot feel them anymore. I almost never have visitations anymore but when I do, they are not very strong, nothing like they used to be 1-2 years ago. My home is now a sanctuary of light and all who cross its threshold will receive light and love, regardless of who or what they are.

There is more than one way to proceed when it comes to wandering spirits but this is mine, and it works for me. My advice in any case would be to follow your intuition and open your heart. Some people become aggressive and try to banish spirits with anger but, in my opinion, that is only fighting fire with fire. You may end up giving them fuel that way too. In my experience, giving love has never let me down as a method to help them move on (whether it is through the light or simply away from my home).

Good luck Smile

Ask it to name itself.

Ask it to work with you for the service of others/all considering you already happen to live in the same apartment.

Ask if it needs anything critically at this time to ensure that its service for others / all goes with the minimum amount of hazzle.

Once these have been established, feel free to start decorating your home in honor of and in agreement with this new visitor.

Congratulations, you got a pet spirit. Remember to feed it love/light and the occasional dollhouse.

My understanding is that spirits do need to move on at some point. Perhaps you could ask it for permission to pray for it.

We all need to "move on at some point". Rushing someone else move forth is a big no no in my book. Kind of like rushing someone to the next incarnation by physical violence. But as I have said. I disagree with many here about the nature of "spirits" and the things they are "meant" to do.

If the spirit is attached to you because you are a nice person and you benefit from the spirit and it from you then you have no more need to help it move forward than a married couple would have need to help the other move forward. When they are at that point.

But without knowing why the spirit is there and or what it wants then simply saying you should move it forward is enforcing your will over it, which to me sounds roughly like this:

"Get out of my world which can't sustain itself if there are spirits in it as well, so I have to lie and say you all have a single destination to move to and call it onward, even though I know its a lie since all destinations are equally valid and there are no mistakes under the Law of One and thus my attempt to get them to move out or on from near me is an attempt by me to maintain the quarantine / purity of my world from thought forms that do not resonate with me and does not in any way resemble and or align with anything that has to do with the other selves desire to manifest as a spirit and only with my fear of that which I can not see/potentially control."

Personally. I would approach it from a spirit workers PoV as I outlined earlier. Treat it like any other incarnate (below 6.5) being with its own desires, goals, motivations emotions, etc etc and you'll do fine. If the spirit likes and chooses to remain in that form, who are you or I to say it shouldn't.

Or are we truly that, and I hate to use this word, "racist" that we cant tolerate beings/spirits around that are sufficiently different from us as to appear to have no physical body, which they of course must have to interact with anything, even if it is not a chemical (3d) but rather a light body (6d).

Curiosity killed the Cat because the Cat turned into a Mind-Body-Spirit-complex with a name instead of a 2d species specific archtype. =)
