This just came to a rather abrupt end over a month ago. But no one here said what to me seems obvious. When a person is extremely depressed, they are in a state of mind that is very hard to heal from within that state. I was there and I know. The depression just became worse and worse, regardless of all the pep talks and New Age bromides.

Dog Star, unless your depression just lifts on its own, you need to get help. Go to a family doctor and tell him your mental state. If he tries to just dump anti-depressants on you, persevere and ask if he can refer you to a good therapist. In our for-profit medical system (which the rest of the world finds insane) it can cost a lot of money to see a psychiatrist, but this is the only person who has the training to properly medicate you and engage you in talk therapy (or refer you to a psychologist). Depression is extremely treatable, but not all alone. It is a disease of the mind. You need some sort of interaction with a trained person who is sincere and will listen, learn and work with you.

It is worth it. I went from very suicidal (I had a plan all worked out) to a reasonably normal human being. I still wonder if the voice inside urging me to kill myself was just a defect of the brain or if it was an Orion thought transmission or some sort. I will never know.

I don't think entities plan a 3 D incarnation with a script that includes suicide, unless that is somehow necessary to firm up a negative polarization.

If you are here, you are meant to be here. Stop trying to escape the lessons by fantasizing about how lovely it would be to die and leave here. That is a cop-out.

Just admit that life is hard. Catalysts are hard, but often scripted before birth. You just don't want to deal with them. You prefer to focus on death as a way out.

But if you don't work through the catalysts in this life, you will just have to do it all over again. And the more catalyst is avoided or ignored, the more it comes back harder and more harsh.

I was honestly concerned about you, since I have been there in that dark place.

Since further dialogue would probably be useless, I will simply wish you the very best.
