i'm sure everyone here has heard of people claiming to have certain sync numbers that appear to them far too much to be coincidence. i'm sure most people here actually have their own sync numbers. 911, 4, 333, 222, 1111, 1117, 7, 153, 420 are some ones i've heard of people having.
today, around 3:30pm, i got thought i wanted to see if i could pick a number to become my sync number...rather than having the number pick me which has always been the case.
i randomly chose the number 9. i thought i should probably meditate on it being my new sync number or something, but i didn't, & i didn't rly think more about it. i simply thought i wanted it to be new sync number, told someone about experiment, & then let that be it.
& then the 9 syncs slowly started coming in...the 1st one was happening to see someone's idle time on messenger service when they were 9m away. wasn't a big deal to me, though, & i noticed i didn't seem to be happening to catch 9 on the clock more than usual or anything so i didn't count idle time as any kind of proof or w/e. i needed much more than that.
i thought to myself that so far the experiment seemed to say you can't pick the sync numbers - they have to pick you. & then right after thinking that i got compelled to check time & it was 9:19. the fact that i was thinking about the 9 sync experiment just before seeing 9:19 made me have to count that as a sync towards conclusion that maybe you can pick the number after all.
& then a bit later the next definite sync happened. while thinking about the 919 sync that had just happened i absentmindedly picked up someone's book that was near me while i was waiting on something & i absentmindedly opened it not even thinking pages were numbered & then the 1st thing my eyes went to like a magnet was the page number, rather than any of the words, & it was page 291...the fact i happened to be thinking of the 9 sync when my eyes went straight to number 9 made me consider this a big sync.
& then i posted a pic in confused's thread & had to resize & randomly chose to take 400 of height & width number & thought to myself it'd be neat if that caused a 9 to be in the numbers & then it did. i didn't notice 9 was already in the height number before changing it...
& then i watched new paranormal witness episode, like i do every wednesday night, & in the ep they say i see written on screen something like, 'this happened in 1994' & then 'they closed hospital in 1998'.
& now since the 1st 9:19 sync i've been noticing myself happening to look at the clock when a 9 is there a lot too much not to notice.
& also i wondered if i should make a thread about this experiment & then got compelled to check time right after thinking that (wasn't looking for confirmation or anything just a random urge) & saw it was 11:19.
conclusions i've drawn:
1. it is possible to pick your sync number.
2. the specific number you're seeing likely bears little to no significance, imo. i think it's all about the universe or your subconsciousness just wanting to interact with you - maybe for no reason other than wanting to interact with you.
