    http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/apocjn-davies.html

3 copies of this gospel were found among the Nag Hammadi codices in 1945 in Egypt, and another one 50 years earlier.

I just read it for the first time and was astounded. It dates back to, at the very least, 180AD and gives an amazing account to the creation of the world as we know it. I feel it resonates strongly with the Ra material.

Another piece of the puzzle? Utter B.S? You be your own judge. But I personally, (trying always to marry my Christian roots that confuse me so, to the Law of One that resonates with me so strongly) feel like I've just taken as big step in moving towards my own personal grand unified theory - for want of a better term.

I have read this a few days ago, following my own clues about this...interesting.
Honestly, as we gain more and more insight and clarity into ourselves, events in the history of mankind become more and more clear.

For example, why were big libraries of knowledge targeted? Alexandria? Bam.
Next stop: the spanish inquisition. Why that fervor? Why that urgency? Cortes plus the Aztecs?

I mean it seems pretty clear to me that the current form of Bible is a clearly distilled, largely fear-based script-collection, one that is tailored specifically for this task. How peculiar that even in this form, the ones radiating love are able to pinpoint the ONE person that does not fit into all this: Jesus, of course.

    Wow, just wow, I say.

I think the thing I love most about this gospel and the others found at Nag Hammadi, is that compared to the biblical gospels, they've been untouched for the past 1800ish years! I've always wondered if/how much the current bible had been altered, seems humanity has had its hands all over them for so long.

Yes, especially the quotes and the behavior of Jesus. Really ,really different, more grounded, a touch more bitter and yet way more...hm, how should I say... resonant.
