    Can you check this?

    Tongue

This is the Law of One book page 5 and 6. This is more better / highly improved version.

Please let me know what you think, the voice recording is much improved.
Is the voice okay? Is the pitch okay? Can you understand what is said?

Requires iTunes/ or an MP4/AAC player.

    Hi carrie,

Listening now...its sounds very clear, I like the voice, it is pleasant.

It does sound like a computer voice. That's probably something that can't be changed with current technology, I don't know anything about that sort of thing.

I haven't listened to prior audio of the Ra material so I have nothing to compare it to. Is there something specific you would like us to evaluate?

    hi Shemaya,

    this is the former set:
    http://techjoys.com/loo.zip

I am doing a re-recording effort to make the Law of One as an audio-book.

The equipment to do this is very expensive and lot of software brought to do this voice synthesis such that it is very clear and very pleasant to listen to.

I listened to the first recording on this file...the new one you posted is much better, I like it alot more than the former set.

What a wonderful service that you are doing!

    Only mp3, m4a for now.

What other formats do you need?

Law of One, session 1, 2 - corrections
    http://techjoys.com/loo_5a.zip - MP4/iTunes version
    http://techjoys.com/loo_5b.zip - MP3 version
    - correction to page 66 - the last few words Ra said was not audible. that was fixed.
    - correction to page 75 - complete re-do, the original speech had wrong pronunciations
    - correction to page 76 - the last few words Ra said was pronounced wrong. this is fixed.

Download the file loo_5a.zip or loo_5b.zip depending on your player preference (iTunes/MP3)
Overwrite the existing sound files with newer files.

I leave you in the love and light of the infinite creator

    Smile

mp3 and m4a pretty much covers all the possible variations and players in the market.

I don't think I'll be making a WMA or RIFF or WAV or PCM or proprietary encoding unless those formats become popular.

Those recordings are very good compared to others I have heard. Please let us know if / when you plan to publish the whole!

It would take around 100+ hours of my spare time (approx 12.5 days full-time) to publish book 1. This will result in 250+ sound files.

Most of time is spent putting "hints" to the text to speech synthesis program. The "hints" are changing pitch/ vibration/ tone/ and intensity of each word according to usage and making sure pronunciation of each word is correct.

The voice is "premium" voice, the speech synthesis is high-end version of the software. The computer to do this, is one of the highest performing (and most expensive).

If you use the normal text-to-speech synthesis products, the voice sounds really terrible and very dry - towards irritation and not wanting to listening (to it) again.

The sound files will be given free-of-charge. Angel

Why not just read them yourself? Librivox uses amateur readers and the result is pretty damn good in my opinion.

I can't really get into the Stephen Hawking voice. But carrie I bet you have a lovely voice!

Maybe we could work on it together. Each person could read a session and combine them all, we could call it "Bring4th Reads the Law of One"

I would really love an audio version of TLOO.

    Hi Carrie,
I am very interested in listening to the audio version of The Law of One, when I clicked on the links in the posts none of them worked... Do you know what the issue is?
    Thank you!

I don't know what the issue is with Carrie's links, but L/L Research is working to make the original sessions available for paid ($3) download. So far there are five ready: http://store.bring4th.org/index.php?cPath=23
