    i agree 100% that musicians have a responsibility with the music they make negative messages created for profit dont work for me. i particularly dislike some of the images of women as sexual objects. that doesnt work for me at all . also dislike this crap about the thug life im a thug etc etc. instead of being a thug and a bully how about being a hero and standing up for someone who is oppressed. that is what i believe in.

    Smashing pumpkins don't make music anymore, do they?
    Edit: just checked, they dissolved in 2000 but reunited again, later....
    Lol, I liked how at the end of the interview Billy tries to subtly direct Alex into a more positive view....

    so much of the music portrays a negative message, especially regarding women an violence, encouraging kids to confront . everyone is protecting their machissimo. heres a rapper i like common
