Sorry for so many posts recently, just have a lot on my mind.

I often see people on here referring to their significant other & the things they do with each other spiritually. It got me thinking about how my partner & I do not see eye to eye with anything spiritually at all - yet somehow we still maintain a deep love for each other.

While I am totally and deeply devoted to the LOO & all of Its teachings, my partner is unsure he even has a soul or that we are soulmates. This to me is very hard to understand. I know we have a purpose and that maybe we have always been attracted to each other how opposites are.

Just wondering if anyone else has this to deal with? I find myself hiding the extent of my searching. He doesn't condemn me for it or look down on me but he does poke fun at me from time to time for being somewhat of a "weirdo".

Is it more beneficial to have a partner that is spiritually on the same level as you? Does Ra have anything to say about choosing a partner - or if we are even supposed to be monogamous in this density/experience?

I would suggest listening to Ram Dass ~ The Breath Inside The Breath

My girlfriend is not spiritual and does not believe there is anything after our physical death. Still my complete faith in spirituality is intriguing to her. We've been together for 6 years and if we are together for another 7 years, I think she may start to open to the idea. It's clear to me that I have things to learn from her and she from me.

This year is really hard on her non beliefs. She can feel the energies when I do Usui Reiki on her. She has even started asking me to do Tarot sessions for her. Smile

I didn't know that you did Tarot Patrick. Are you fairly well versed in the archetypes?

Not really no. I just go with my intuition. Smile

Yeah, I don't understand archetypes either. But I'm not really driven to, at least not now.

My mom is a pretty spiritual lady. She thinks of herself as a spiritual master. I don't think so, but I can't really judge. I see her lose her temper fairly often. But I make observations and come to my own conclusions. I'm far from an adept. I struggle with too many things. But at least I have my faith in the Law of One. It keeps me going knowing that my mom and I are one. We're the same One being ultimately. Whether one is a spiritual master or not, whether they practice or not, they are still the same being.

Is it more beneficial to have a partner that is spiritually on the same level as you?

They are much more catalysts for your spiritual growth with someone that is not 'spiritually aware' (and for them). I can give you some example: acceptance, faith, patience.

There is also the sexual energy transfer, and if both entities are in or beyond green ray, then there are plentiful of catalysts for both of you.

Sometimes, seekers (and I was far for being an exception) think that being spiritual means to be 'holier'. The positive path is a path of total acceptance. A 'non spiritual' partner could really helps you if you go overboard in this 'holiness'. A good reminder is to picture a light, what can you say about it? It illuminates everything in it's path, hence there is unconditional love and total acceptance. The sun shines everywhere.

Now I would say that after a certain spiritual growth (Ra mentions that something over 50% of entities choose their own lifeplan pre-incarnation), then you have both chosen each others pre-incarnation for a reason.

From my own experience, the moment I had learned my lessons (and they were plenty) from my partner, she instantly awakened. Once the lessons for both of you are learned, your partner will awaken or the relationship will fall away and a new partner will show up.

Does Ra have anything to say about choosing a partner - or if we are even supposed to be monogamous in this density/experience

Ra does explain that being monogamous, with the right partner, is the normal way relationship occur in higher densities. A 3D entity from 3D is not supposed to be monogamous. However, the wanderers and the entities with their dual activated body will definitely choose pre-incarnative condition where they will be with the 'optimal' partner for their spiritual growth and sticking with it.

Yeah. Ra called it: "entering a program of service" with your other-self. I remind me of this sometimes when my relationship is more difficult. I entered my Self in a program of service. Fortunately, this includes all sorts of services... Wink

I have the same experience as the OP and others here. In fact, when I started posting here my girlfriend thought I was joining a cult :p

It's funny though, she shows all the hallmarks of being a wanderer, but her eyes just glaze over if I mention anything about the Law of One or souls or anything and she makes fun of me when I pore over my tarot cards.

When I was staying with my dad last year, he read the word "occult" that someone had mentioned to me in PM. He thought it was evil and forbade me from visiting this website the five or so months I was there. It was hard, but it was his home, so I respected him. He goes to a Christian church.

I think it says a lot for you that you respected his wishes even though you found it trying.
