So sorry to be a 'debbie-downer' here but what this parent does is condition his kid to agree with him, teaching his kid how rewards may be earned by superficially agreeing with parent. You see this done in a very unhealthy way with divorcing parents in custody battles.

Yes, I got that feeling from the video too, but I have my blinders on.

Considering the deep edits, I "read" this video as a cute little show in which the child was not really being conditioned at all. I can see how you would think that, but I just didn't take it that way. Anyway - it is quite normal even in happy homes for parents to have a bit of a "say Mom vs Dad" game going on from time to time. And even in the end, little one still felt quite comfortable saying Mum to Dad.

Anyway, I just watched it again and still think it is really funny. Like those e-trade commercials. Love those! Never get tired of seeing the babies!

I didn't get the impression the father was intentionally conditioning a response. I didn't like the end bit where the bub wanted to get out of the chair though....she looked very frustrated at that stage.
