Almost 3 weeks ago I found and took in 4 feral kittens that were living by the hedges in front of my house. I saw the mom cat about a month or 2 prior but had no idea she had kittens! So I'm walking by the hedges one day and this little head pops out. Being that its winter time here in PA and cold as balls, I just couldn't say no to them. They're not dying on my watch. So I trapped the 4. Next door trapped the other kitten. It was kind of a coordinated effort. Unfortunately, the mom cat was trapped but released along with a kitten by the neighbor in fear we didn't get all of them. Big mistake. I saw and heard her a few times meowing for them and had the trap set up but she didn't fall for it, not yet. I haven't seen or heard from her lately so she may have found greener pasture. I'm still on the lookout.

They're friendlier now and they get along with my cat Simon just fine. I keep them in the spare master bedroom. They play all the time and just have a good time. My cat's not aggressive at all. So I'll get all 4 their shots, fixed, and find homes for 2 since I'll keep 2 kittens. I gave them names. I already invested lots of money and time into them so they're def not going to the SPCA.

In the front from left to right:
    Heimdal
    Samhain
In the back left to right:
    Athena
    Frigga

    MEOW!!

Wow they are so lucky. Now momma cat has a much better chance of providing enough food to keep the one remaining with her healthy. Animals lose a lot of weight in this cold so the one will need all the fuel. Hopefully they found a nice sheltered spot near a dryer vent. Wink

    Good job!

That would be Heimdal (tuxedo cat). He's the alpha of the group. He's gonna be huge when he's all grown up. Smile
