(sniffs everyone on the forum) Do I smell potatoes?

I once told Walter he smelled like M&Ms. He was like WTF. It was more like he smelled the way M&Ms make me feel. I get the synesthesia that way sometimes...I'll experience a physical sensation from a color, or see colors when I smell something. It all kind of mixes up...I wonder if that's how it is for everyone in higher densities...your senses all just blur together maybe?

I think everyone now is like that. Only, you are more aware of it.

Could be due to a neurological disorder.

lol!! Don't know. I don't have these senses mixed up, but I like to sniff people! Feels like breathing in their essence, beyond the physical smell. My mind sniffs something and it doesn't want to share it with me! BigSmile

Yay absolutely! Someone almost ran me over with his car Tongue.
My bike was damaged but I was okay. We exchanged adress (he had to pay for the damage, after all) and when he showed me his ID I realized he had birthday the same day as I! We joked around and I say we were probably karmically linked, for him to bump into myself like that, lol. He agreed. I def felt a close connection there.

I can relate to that, definitely BigSmile.
I somehow would "take over" too much of their vibes and it made me feel bad. I think that is an empath thing.
Akhtu you sound very empathic too.

Haha. If so, I've got it too.

A smell can bring back memories and vice versa. Memories are packed with sensations.
And what of memories from centuries past :0 ?

Apparently, some people can meditate and assess colored chakras. Which I'm still just pretending, btw :-).

Synesthesia is a real condition, in which wires can get crossed in the brain leading to the senses melding together in such a way. I remember one lady talking about how every time she would hear a certain sound her vision would be flooded by this bright orange color. Another guy tasted vomit every time he said a certain word (I can't remember what the word was, but he tried to avoid using it lol). And one person saw different colors for each note on a piano. They said it was simply beautiful to watch.

I have wondered about what spiritual principles might be behind a "disorder" like this. It seems to have metaphysical influence all over it, just like schizophrenia, though most of the people that have it are able to lead completely normal, happy lives.

I can see people's chakras if I concentrate, though it's very subjective. I have no way to prove if what I'm seeing is accurate. I used to try to do work for people by looking at their chakras and then sending in my own energy in to help them balance any blockages, but I really messed myself up doing it a couple of times and figured it wasn't really my forte. Intuitive readings seem to be where I excel. As soon as you get into the more physical stuff my ability wanes.

I think that people with "disorders" like synesthesia or ADHD/ADD, are the "future". Their mind is already adopted to 4D, but not the body they are inside of, and also the society they live in.

Same thing with me, only it's with young women and my eyes go over every bump and curve. Go figure. Angel

I can appreciate a nice chest. Angel

Doesn't EVERYONE have ADD these days? I seriously don't think I know a single person that HASN'T been diagnosed with it. Everyone seems to be bipolar, too. I think it's about time we stop trying to shut out our feelings with pills and realize that these mass fluctuations in consciousness are there for a reason. Pumping kids up on Ritalin makes me sick. They want us all to be glassy-eyed and stupid. These days it seems like showing any sort of cognitive thought labels you with some sort of mental disorder. Dodgy

i've been dxed ADD lool and half my friends prolly, if you daydream and can't force yourself to be a square they dx you ADD. what's this thread about anyhew lol? i cba to go to the first page
i'm an empath and i get that opposite seeping and matching seeping, when it's the opposite it's hell and when it's matching it's heaven. how are we supposed to become a social memory complex if we can't all match each other? i was just wondering about this because i've had awful time with people lately who do not match me. it's very traumatic for me. i think it's cuz as an empath you almost become someone else, so when it's someone you don't want to be you feel invaded.

Exactly. I think what doctors are calling schizophrenia with me is my sensitivity to 4D energies.

Agreed. I am very sensitive to others' energies. Even non-physical beings cause me the feelings of transformation.

when the veil thinned for me one day, I was experiencing building an emotional database, and was hypersensitive to emotions. Even cute cartoon characters I would hallucinate on the wall were overwhelming in their cuteness.
