Somebody ought to slap you around a bit.

By the way, what's your sister's e-mail address?

"Where" is Louisville, KY, USA. "When" is yet to be determined, but it normally is the last weekend in August. Keep pestering Bring4th_GLB for details.

I'll be in Louisville from June 8-15 this year--any chance of it taking place around that time? (Of course I'll be working during the day). What exactly is homecoming?

If I find an affordable way to get from New York City to Kentucky with the handicap of being a currently semi-broke college student, then sure, count me in! If not I'll try to astral project myself over yonder. You'll know I've made it there if you feel some invisible force tap-dancing on your heads until a chill runs down your spine. Tongue

Works for me! And on the car ride there we can even sing such classics as "99 Bottles of Creator On The Wall" (except the number will never change) and play epic games such as "I spy with my little eye... something Creator-like". BigSmile FUN EH? Tongue

... I'm going to have to ride in the trunk now, won't I?

With such a chipper attitude you'll be tied to the roof! I drive a hatchback so the trunk won't do.

Mobile sun-bathing doesn't sound so bad! If birds start perching on the roof and peck at my slow-roasting flesh I'll be sure to tap your window with my heel 3 times to let you know I might not make it all the way to homecoming. Tongue

!! There's an idea. If people are willing to come but don't want to drive across country by themselves if you live on the west coast: Anybody up for a road trip and pick up people on the way to KY? I certainly wouldn't be able to drive there by myself being the only person driving as my bad leg can't handle more than like 4 or 5 hours of me driving at a time.

Are you in Toronto, Azrael? Or at the very least not so deep in Canada? It might be cheaper to get to NYC or PA and hitch a ride with this potential caravan of ours!

Alas, I am over on the West coast, however naturally it would be cheaper to take as short a flight as possible if I can ride the rest of the way. What I'll probably do is take a bus across the border first and then fly out from within the US borders.

Homecoming typically happens over Labor Day weekend each year. That holds true this year as well. The event will begin the evening of Friday, August 31 and conclude the evening of Sunday, September 2.

Eddie, I emailed you the address. Abstrktion, sorry but no can do! Godwide_Void, that's the funniest game of "I Spy" I've ever heard. (Made me laugh.) Though as every answer is a right answer, maybe not the funnest. : )

L/L Research will probably officially announce Homecoming sometime in April. For those with financial limitations, L/L makes tuition available on a sliding scale.

And if anyone reading this is rich and wants to help fund a scholarship or two to help a broke seeker cover their transportation costs to Louisville, let me know please. : )

Explanation by the tongue makes most things clear, but love unexplained is clearer. - Rumi
