You'd probably have a better chance having these 'experiences' while having a stroke or temporal lobe epilepsy than using the helmet. It's difficult to distinguish between placebo effect and the direct effect of this helmet. There are adepts in this world who have had experiences through their dedication to developing their body/mind/spirit without instruments. There might be a rationale for why there is a process for 'spiritual' development to have 'experiences'.

The pineal gland and temporal lobe are overrated thanks to new age thought (based on intuition and some out dated scientific understanding), while the frontal lobe is underrated and yet highly important for our development. Ra mentions the frontal lobe too, tho they say it's used more in 4D & beyond. The frontal lobe is the area of the brain that will help people to balance their emotional experience (e.g., work through strong emotions like fear, anger, etc.,), make good judgment, have more self-control (e.g., manage impulsivity, etc.,), and be able to balance intuition via rational thought.

So why not go with the balanced, whole brain operation, that is self-sufficient (i.e., no need for instruments or substances to have experiences)
