In my work I have to keep up with the linear time. I use a digital clock on an old Ipod. It seems that more often than not when I glance over at it that there are repeating numbers. Sometimes even the seconds. It's a nice reminder for me that more's going on than me just rubbing on folks. 
Another thing I have been thinking about again lately is my birth date. I was born on the 11 and so were both my folks. I seem to have a connection with others born on the 11 as well. Not better or more special just a certain sameness.
