The Axis


Look at us now, we’re facing consequences,

You on one side of the ball and I at the other.

And we never see our eyes anymore, back to back,

We’re drifting in opposite directions

In between the gap , wails of past connections shuffle and collapse into each other, fracturing our reflections

We’re spinning the world around us , with our feet we set the galaxy in motion,

The Solar system of our tragedy, back to back,

We’re revolving around the Sun

And as I get closer to the other side,

I step on your trails and I can feel you…

Step on mine.

After all , our minds are affected by the same rotation

In this eternal circle , our souls are spiraling in one direction

Into the atom of this little strand of life that webs beyond limitation.

Look at us now, free of consequences,

You on one side of my body and I on one side of yours,

Face to face , we reached our destination.
