Quote:Quo-man said: "When one is mindful one finds oneself slowly able to release the fear that has caused the distortion that has created for the self an armor against that which is perceived as a threat. To one continuously aware of the self as love there are no threats, there is only remembrance of the truth of love."

When in a roller-coaster, do you enjoy the fear? Do you squeal like a little girl because of the excitement? When you are riding downhill really fast on a mountain bike, and if you lose your focus you might go through the process you know as death, land in time/space, go "damn" blank out your memory, place you in a "I didn't die after all even though I lost focus." timeline where your bike is 10 meters up a tree and you are with a stick up your buttocks in need of hospital.

No real danger is of course occurring but if you wish to continue the illusion that you are a normal mortal, you may like to continue to have this thought of "fear" in certain conditions. Keeps you more focused on the high precision high detail work at hand. But don't keep it up at all times. That would be a very bad idea.

To quote the author of Conversations With God: "Fear = Feeling Energized and Ready."

That being said, threat of failure at a difficult task is always present in all levels. Fear of that actually happening decreases throughout time as you progress along the STO path (more likelyhood of feeling everything succeeds when you have no hard sense of what you wish to do in the universe other than "help others". So everything you do will always feel like a success, and since feelings create reality and so forth, everything you do will be a success. Even though you may end up completely disintegrated and of no help to anyone in the process, it will still feel like a huge success.)

    Because there "are no mistakes".

What that really means, that there are no mistakes, is quite a thing to get isn't it...

You can put your hand through a solid wall anytime you want, but once you do it once you'll have the rest of eternity to know that you can do it anytime you want. Thats quite a tall order to place on your mind complex. You can go without fear and always be in love, but that's quite a tall order to place on the physical complex, seeing as it knows that it will die at some point.

If you are always in love without giving or allowing for the possibility of fear. Prepare for a STS 4thdensity.

If you are always willing to open your emotions and be honest, in the now, and when possible seek to return to the now and honesty as quickly as possible. I have no idea where you'll end up, but I'm sure you'll have a blast anywhere.

There are no positive/negative emotions, there are just emotions. If you deny some of them the right to express themselves (fear) you are removing the worth/impact of the other emotions as well (such as love).

Anyway. That's my take on this. The deep mind, a truly wonderous thing.
