I have seen a lot of sentiments here of posters saying once they found the LOO they didn't need to read anything else...
My advice to the new "seeker" would be to never stop, sure you can probably do without the new age fluff which probably won't tell you anything new after you've read the LOO, but there is so much out there to refine the framework through which you view the LOO, the world and yourself. I also would advise against the sacralising of the "Ra"/Ra material (and the consequential profaning of anything that contradicts it), it ain't perfect and such behaviour does little more than encouraging zealotry.
I second Zenmaster, but also I'd say chuck in some philosophy of mind in with your psychological ponderings, should set you up on some pretty firm ground for your "seeking".
