Personally yeah, as catalyst is analysed it seems as if meaning is assigned so the individual can choose where to place the newly integrated experience in the "worldview".
But more objectively (on a macrocosmic, shared level) meaning surely transcends the needs of the individual? I dunno it's just been bugging me lately, this feeling that effort results in reward and the more effort the greater the reward and thus meaning. It seems to me that if the veil o earth really is as thick as all these sources say then we may be participating in potentially, a very meaningful process here given the required effort expended to transcend. I dunno, it's a personal thing i guess lol
