But I like to visualize white light of Creator softly washing over me. Or washing is not the best word, as it doesn't move. I'm just in the presence of the Light. But I found it doesn't really matter what I focus on when I meditate. I feel the same. So whether it's my social memory complex, higher self, Creator, or helping Earth, it feels the same. Perhaps only furries make me feel different, as they get me giddy and excited. Of course that sensation can wear off before too long so I can't use them all the time to feel good.
To be honest I don't think this kind of meditation is ultimately the most useful to you. While 'pleasant', I think the reason it never seems to be any different is because you are not using the meditation to approach your own balance but rather seem to use it as a "feel-good" technique.
