How does celibacy work in relation to the energy centers and the Law of One? Is it an act of suppression or a sense of overcoming desire? or does the red ray energy rise up to orange ray emotional catalyst and beyond?

Energy may be discharged or expressed at a certain energy level. The energy may also be sublimated to higher energy centers. Repressing desire, and sublimating it are two different things. Repressing or overcoming desire, according to Ra, is an "unbalanced action creating difficulties in balancing in the time/space continuum. Overcoming thus creates the further environment for holding onto that which apparently has been overcome."

Sublimating a desire would be akin to transmuting strong red ray sexual urges into orange, yellow, and green and so on for purposes of adepthood.
