Simply see all catalyst as an opportunity, even a reminder, to offer love and gratitude to the Universe. That is an extraordinarily powerful practice/habit to develop!
It requires faith or spiritual insight, or more broadly inner peace, to do so effectively, because unless these things are present, many situations which occur in daily life can seem objectively threatening or negative. Seeing them as an opportunity to feel/express love requires the ability to ignore the superficial aspects of the event - by which I mean exactly those aspects that we normally tend to focus exclusively on, e.g., the financial consequences of losing a job, the insult of having been yelled at, the anger at having been unjustly treated - and instead recognize that all of that is of no consequence, and the only thing that truly matters in an ultimate sense is whether we respond to the catalyst with love/acceptance or harm/control.
Love, again, is simply goodwill, tenderness, kindness - the energy of the open heart.
As with every spiritual practice, although it seems daunting and unnatural at first, the more one does it, the easier it becomes, and one begins to experience directly the fundamental truth of that previously strange perspective on life, and the wonderful rewards that come with it.
Thank you for another great topic, Plenum!
