I agree with Jade.
I had a publisher steal one of my proposals and use it, for which I was not compensated. I tried to resolve it even with the president of the co., but they didn't want to take responsibility. I was advised to sue. I did not. The main reason was because I would have been pouring energy into something negative and in the past. I wanted to look to the future and what I could create, not tear down; and I wanted to move forward, not backwards or stay stuck in the energy of the law suit.
My sister is in a large law suit with a huge company because of loss of business. It is legitimate. But it has already been 2 years and will be years more. It seems to me one's energy can be put to better use, and that forgiveness could come into the equation.
In the case of the Eagles, how much money do they need? Perhaps it's the principle, but I like the principle of forgiveness better.
I like the ho'oponopono prayer for resolving conflict:
I love you
I'm sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
It's based on the connectedness of all things (people), so whatever someone else has done or is doing, is also in you. So you say it to the person/entity you have issue with.
