But I find that there is order to what I have learned in the past and what I am learning now. Even if it seems like it's the same old repeating at times. How do I know if I'm not just writing a story of a character who lives in a Law of One world? Could be that, but I do get thoughts that go beyond what I have read. So I tend to feel more as I connect that it's real, rather than just regurgitating what I read. In the larger picture, there really is nothing new.
I have also repeated information I've read, and thought to myself 'I read that!'. This can, quite obviously, cause doubts. There is an explanation however; you're drawn to that material for a reason. Next time you channel (in whatever form), ask some questions you know you do not know the answer to and try your best to let go (the ego can kick in at this point and cause doubt/worry if the trust is not fully developed).
Many of my teachers regarding channeling all say the same thing; it will feel like your imagination at first. With practice, you will be able to feel the difference in origin. Have trust in yourself.

Sounds like contact to me! Were the answers of thought-form, or audible to you? Bashar states that when channeling (or any type of consciousness connection), a new reality is built in which the communication takes place. We raise our consciousness level, and they lower theirs, and we meet somewhere in-between.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine (a Mod on another site) began documenting a series of sightings visible above his home in the country. Here is the thread from that website complete with photos & commentary by all of us as we tried to figure out what he was seeing. But he remains, to this day, absolutely convinced of an intelligence behind what he saw over those weeks.
I am interested if your sighting is similar to these? (Sorry, its kind of long)

Thanks for the link Richard. From what I've read (there is only so many posts written in caps-lock I can digest during any one sitting!), they seem different. Your friends experiencesThe type I c were more akin to UFO sightings, involving movement.
The type I witness are predominately static (one moved and pulsed in three locations once); you would miss it in the blink of an eye.
Eddie: could you explain why you mentioned the Cygnus constellation?
