one can be a drain
or one can be a fountain

one can bring others down in pain
or one can turn cheeks up like a mountain

one can live a life without any moral behavior
one can bypass the heart without a single care

or one can follow christ...forgiveness the savior
where one bleeds compassion with a gentle stare

one can keep on using and abusing
one can lie...one can steal...one can hate

or one can unite and start fusing
one can cry...one can heal...one can wait

one can be impatient...one can put up a fuss
or one can be calm...never a worry nor a rush

beyond all of this there is a peace so still
when one is responsible with every act of will
