Love/Humility/Forgiveness.
This is my "hack" for finding my way quickly out of a negative mind frame.
Choose Love:
Think of the one thing that makes your heart open regardless of your mindstate. (Peter Pan = think happy thoughts and fly)
This step is crucial because, without it, finding humility in the negative space takes massive effort.
Humility:
Think of the reason you value this love. Feel the reason and love sink down to your core. Feel privileged to have that love in your life and grateful for the warmth and love you can experience as a result of it.
Forgiveness:
Look at why you were negative, now that you're in a better state of heart/mind. Accept that it's ok because that's something you're here to experience as catalyst and stay with the thought until you feel you've balanced it. Then realize it's what helps build the new you who you accept with all your flaws. Hence, you forgive yourself...although it's more of a realizing there's nothing to forgive but more of a choice to not feel that way.
