I wasn't actually posting a fix for you, the OP, or anything in particular. It was a general comment that could be applied to any behavioral change.
Most people don't make conscious choices. That's what I'm talking about, making choice conscious and directing it where you want your focus to go. It is simply—but not easy—being proactive. The more one unplugs from the media the easier it is, though I wouldn't say it's ever easy because of our training from day one here.
