Yeah, and I think schizo doesn't go away.

Drugs alter perception. For a short intense period you have an extremely altered perception during and after you immediately dose. After a period that varies depending on the person and drug you supposedly return you normal perception. However you really don't. In my experience my perception was permanently altered. If I smoke pot I'm high for days somethings even weeks. What you call "buzzed" I've been for months. You can only truly recover in sleep where you body works to readjust the chemical balances on your brain. It's a long and emotionally painful process. Readjusting after you went 'over the edge' isn't easy.

I was able to make peace with my thoughts by adopting bashar and the seth material. Understanding that you are at the center of your universe and that I am too, not this or that this and that, was key for me.

When you are in the acute stage of being high things can be great, fun and expanding. If you are in the chronic stage of being high you move closer to schizo. If you stay in the chronic stage of high without first moving to the acute where you actually dose, most likely you are psychotic. Whether you are able to live you life that way is unknown. I sure as hell couldn't.

IMHO, schizo is temporary depending on how it manifested in the first place. Schizo for me is like an injury luckily that I will be able to recover from. I also believe that mental illness is very treatable with chemicals. Therapy is the answer. lol I the best therapist for myself. Unfortunately, I was also the crazy scientist using myself to experiment with ideas almost always with drugs
EDIT: Modern medicine does not recognize any mental illness as being temporary, except say depression, but there are even "forms" of depression that they say are permanent"
