Beautiful answer, B4Jade! Another aspect of the card, for me at least, is that it calls to the Adept to use what I call "reality creation" skills to advance the soul. A subset of magical working, perhaps? The calling is to envision, or to magically pull forward events and meaningful interactions (psychological objects) to advance soul development in the current lifetime. Perhaps to pull forward lessons and learnings that are currently postponed to a future lifetime into the present one. Perhaps to offer greater service to others to advance their lessons and learnings.

I think of the card as an invitation from the Higher Self to become an active co-creator while still incarnate. (Typically, that kind of interaction with the Higher Self occurs in the Afterlife.) When the Mind gains mobility (magical working, reality creation, psychic powers, whatever) the Self has far greater power to accomplish some pretty remarkable stuff; whether in service to self, or in service to other.

I think the card is "carpe evolution." Seize the truly important work of actively, consciously, purposely advancing your soul development. This card expresses an act of Will much like the Magician card. But unlike that card's will to incarnate, this card's will is to accelerate evolution. Accomplish in one life what it might otherwise take dozens.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
