For what it's worth, I find it valuable to sage my house on the regular. It really does elevate the energy. There's one point in the material where Ra mentions an elemental trying to move in to the gang's house in the body of a dead mouse inside the walls, but being discouraged by the burning of incense. Pretty simple thing to do for energetic hygiene.
