Sometimes I wonder if any music is actually original. I've heard songs in my life that on first listen I felt like I always knew that song, like it just had to exist, I already contained it. This led me to ponder if music composers aren't just channels to higher density music group who have been creating music all over the places since the dawn of times and they're just waiting for us to realize all that exist. I myself have composed music and sometimes felt like I was merely connecting to already existing emotions which I was only tainting through my current experience. Or maybe it is that I had experienced similar music in a past life, I'm not sure. It's not a clear definitive answer but just food for thoughts.
