Thanks, 3D. No, probably not a coincidence! The interesting thing is that they get along really well. I wonder if the fact that they're always on the same emotional and intellectual cycles helps with that because one's never down when the other one is up.

Probably so, I don't think I've ever known of two people with those cycles in common before. Just to answer the last (as yet unasked) question, all three cycles would only reconverge after a little more than 58 years (21252 days to be exact). This would be a about a .0047% chance. It obviously happens, but I'd be socked if any two such people knew each other.
