Eh, even though I find Kek amusing I have to generally agree that it's largely an egregore, a manifestation of the collective willpower of a lot of pissed off people. I wouldn't recommend trying to contact such an entity since it's largely a ball of psychic "f*** you." As for Kek being the god of darkness. He's a frog. He represents transitioning from waters of chaos to the land of order. In a sense he's a light bringer, one who makes order from chaos. Worshipping such an entity as the One Creator would be a huge distortion. But it is an important and primal concept. Also I believe the very "negative" characters who formed kek are working in such a manner to bring crucial hidden truths to light. This is a significant service.
Carl Jung also speaks of frogs as being the symbols of personality formed from the collective unconsciousness. I think Kek represents, in part, a herald of the formation of a social memory complex. It's very immature, very chaotic, very angry. But I mean, it's a birth. Who wouldn't be a bit pissed off being born into this world? Give it a few hundred years to mature and I think you'd be surprised.
