    ~ 1958

Old-school-style MJ12 disinformation attempt (back in prehistoric times when dinosaurs
roamed the Earth and the American Joe Six-Pack was tapping his toes to Chuck Berry's
latest tune, "Sweet Little Sixteen") stalwartly transcended by Marine Corps naval aviator
Maj. Keyhoe, who knew damn well what technology should & shouldn't be up in the sky
ca. the 1950s, and who also was fearlessly certain of exactly what kind of polluted info-stream
he was swimming up, and wasn't overly impressed by its bullying claims of unquestionably
authoritative pristineness like unto Revealed Truth:

    (Dig the then-prevalent starry-eyed Authority-worshiping naïveté implicit in Wallace's awe-struck
question at 14:15 -- what, the sainted Government lie to its own citizens?!?! Does... not... compute!!!
If you're young, just try to imagine [you'll "misunderestimate" it by an order of magnitude, probably --
or I don't know Texarkansas!] how almost unreasonably open to mass conditioning folks in general were
back then, before the massive societal shake-up of the mass-indoctrination mechanism by the powerful
effect on hearts and minds of the Vietnam-War debacle's revelations of the Establishment's global politico-
industrial savagery co-factored wih the Love Generation's radical questioning of the dysfunctional status quo
affording this kind of naughty behaviour.)

    ~ 1995

In '95, as part of a PR multimedia package to hype its new alien-themed Disneyland ride, Disney
broadcast this early example of infotainment in various U.S. cities -- reaction from certain quarters
was not overly salubrious, so it was nixed right-quick and memory-holed. It is educational now in that it
shows how easily the phenomenon could be informatively presented with the matter-of-fact assumption
that it is something real, and not in the usual rabidly disinformational propagandic manner customarily
used to sophistically repudiate its very possibility and to demonize its observers & experiencers as insane/evil:

    Text from YouTube page:

In March of 1995, Walt Disney Television aired an intriguing UFO special. This highly unusual
UFO video special presents UFOs and alien visitation to our planet as a matter of fact.
At first glance, the special appears to be a promotion of the "New Tomorrowland" area, in par-
ticular the new "Alien Encounters" ride. This was in the mid 90's. (This venture was cancelled
    almost immediately)
However, upon closer inspection...it is much more. The entire program, which opens with a
short segment by Disney CEO Michael Eisner, does not even question the existence of UFOs
and a major UFO cover-up. In fact, at times it has a tone of ridicule towards those who still
deny that UFOs exist; quite unique.
         I
t's easily located today online, but the circumstances of its production and (highly limited)

distribution, and its oddly firm view of the reality of the phenomenon, make it decidedly weird
    and unique.
If all Disney wanted to do was promote its new theme park ride with an alien theme, they

needn't have gone to nearly as much trouble. As it is, it's almost like the ride-promo mission
was used as a Trojan horse / excuse to deliver a lot more subversive and revolutionary infor-
mation. Maybe this really was a disclosure exercise gone awry, maybe it was out-of-control
filmmakers who produced an end product the Disney chiefs didn't know what to make of. But
it sure is fun speculating, and the show has since become a UFO conspiracy' staple -- another
tantalizing hint of the truth, allegedly.

[Image: life752.jpg] Make up your own joke about "heavenly bodies"

"[There were] formidable stacks of mail received daily from non-joking citizenry. Most
were scornful of the official silence which had enveloped the [flying] saucer problem
since Captain Mantell's death chase, 1948. Many raked the Air Force over the coals,
others condemned 'big business' (later 'international bankers'), while a few blamed
religion. Another popular notion claimed a space race had taken over the world govern-
ments and was directing our ships of state. In the saucer business, rumors were always
rife and the juiciest ones always won space in some little saucerzine. One mimeo sheet
went so far as to claim that Christ and his disciples were lodged on the moon and were
waiting to return to earth in a fleet of saucers. While the cultists were exploiting saucers,
causing many on-the-fencers to abandon their interest, the man-on-the-street still saw
them as a proofless fantasy. The world of Marilyn Monroe and the scrabble board were
    more three-dimensional."
---- Leonard H. Stringfield, Saucer Post ...3-0 Blue -- CRIFO Views the Status Quo: A
    Summary Report
(1957), pp. 20-21. Stringfield was director of CRIFO (Civilian Research,

Interplanetary Flying Objects) -- one of the world's largest research groups during the
mid-'50s and publisher of its newsletter, ORBIT (1953-1957). He also worked in coopera-
tion with the United States Air Force (1953-1957), investigating and reporting UFO activity,

having been assigned a special code number to report by phone to the Air Defense Com-
    mand in Columbus, Ohio.

Not to worry, it's all fake news; not only are we the sole sentient lifeforms in all of endless spacetime, kings of all
we survey, but even if we're not, TTS is still just an info-psyop cunningly projecting straw-man evidence so that
its eventual debunking will throw out the vrai UAP-baby with the bogus dirty bathwater. So either way it needs to
be ignored or something, or nothing, or anything, or everything. Cherry-pick your own reality to suit your taste!
