Good example. Pride envelopes a lot of ares in various ways and keeps you separate from others. Being a Leo, pride was rough for me most of my life and I know it intimately. Once you learn to let go a weight is lifted. I associate pride with intellect a lot, proving yourself etc., so having to be right all the time is unnecessary wasted energy. I think pride is linked to blue energy in a lot of ways (also linked with others), and so people with pride feel the need to teach and be honest, since they have a strong sense of self and wisdom. They feel they're benefiting others by correcting them and pointing out all the errors of their thinking. There is a way to do this, and a way not to. Most people start tuning out proud individuals.
The problem is that pride has a small tolerance for letting others do their own seeking, and walk their own path. It seems that pride is strongly linked to the self, and the innate need to communicate the wisdom it knows. So when someone with pride hears false information, it's almost as if they're not correcting them for the other person's benefit..they seem to be validating their own self knowledge. Simply put, proud people enjoy being right. Letting go of this lifts an unnecessary burden. Others are allowed to be wrong and go through their own process. It took me many years to learn that.
Pride seems to keep you from accepting others and their own state of being, so having the wrong kind of pride blocks those seeking unity.

I'd agree with this. There are emotions that come and go, but I am unable to linger on those emotions anymore. I am unable to slip into sadness or depression. It is nice to finally be content!
