Here's something i was thinking about the whole 2011 timing/transitional period thing:
I think both sides (gradual/sudden) are correct in their own ways. I see 2011 as a "tipping point", rather than an all-encompassing moment in space/time. I think everyone here would agree with this, except the fundamentalist sudden-graduation believers. Even though I see it as a tipping point, I still feel that tipping point will probably be significant enough to be a transformational experience for those ready for it. It's like piercing the cocoon for the first time; you can see daylight, but you aren't out of there yet!
