Great post. Have you ever read any books by Anthony De Mello? If not check him out particulary the Awareness. I love what you say about music and the playing of one single not and how it is necassary to listen to the whole song not just one note. You saying that reminded me that I must remember to respect all walks of life, simply because we are all ONE. Your insights on suffering are also great to read. I feel the only benefit of suffering is the knowledge that comes with it. People need to understand suffering as a teacher. Understand that something needs to be changed. It is like pain. Pain lets you know there is a problem. If your knee hurts then you know that something is wrong and something needs to be done to fix it. To me suffering can be used in the same way. I have learned so much from my past life of suffering and ignorance. I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired. To me I think people need to embrace there faults, sufferings, problems, and all other negative things and see them as a tool for understanding and once you see that move on. No more guilt or repentence and no more sorries. The best way to say sorry to someone is simply by changing and not doing it again. In my past I did so many wrong things to people and would say sorry, but I would always do it again. That was then and this is now. I don't have to apologize anymore because I don't do the things that I used to do. I have woken up to reality and now I am someone who is dedicated to service to others and this beautiful planet we live on!
